Susannah Heffernan

Bio

Susannah Heffernan writes literary speculative fiction. Her debut short story collection, Speculize, was published in 2020. Her work has appeared in various literary magazines.

Susannah has read at London’s Southbank Centre, QueerCircle Limewharf, and at the Albany Theatre, as well as presenting at Warwick Words history festival and Animal Rebellion.

She jointly organised the international conference, (Un)Ethical Futures, Utopias and Dystopias at Monash University, Melbourne. Susannah has taught for the Warwick Writing Programme, and she is completing a PhD in literary practice.

In 2018, she was awarded Most Outstanding Original Voice by Create 50. She lives in South London .
